At just under 1600 acres Hidden Oaks Ranch offers impressive topography & rolling terrain with gorgeous views in every direction. The landscape features wet weather creeks, multiple ponds & a 12+ acre lake. The lake has provided water even in one of the worst droughts the state has ever seen. Wildlife includes multiple species of ducks, turkey, hogs & trophy whitetail deer from South Texas genetics introduced into the area years ago. This ranch can handle around 200 head of cattle & has a blend of native grasses, roughly 60 acres in Tifton Bermuda & over 200 acres of tillable land in oats. It also has multiple pastures, each with its own water trough all supplied by 3 water wells. The majority of fencing is electric & there are 2 sets of working pens. There are also 2 houses on the ranch, a smaller farmhouse with the original ship lap walls & bead board ceilings & a hunter’s cabin. You won't find many places left with the much acreage, topography, water, pasture & recreation.
